We've broken down the design process into specific stages so that our clients can better understand it. By taking it one step at a time, our clients are more comfortable, more design educated, and more satisfied with the end results.
1. Define the Project. The design process first begins by defining a client's needs. It is critical that we understand the nature of your business so that we are on the same wavelength. The information we gather will be extremely important in developing a look that is appropriate and effective for your company.
2. Concept Development. This is the most critical and time-consuming stage in the process. Here we begin to see the look and feel of the project. During this phase, we create concepts or prototypes for clients to proof and approve. If you choose a design in the first viewing, we proceed directly to Stage Four: design implementation. If the concepts need to be reworked, we proceed to Stage Three.
3. Design Revisions. Here we work on new ideas or rework concepts seen at the initial viewing. You may have liked some design elements or would like to see variations of a particular concept. Perhaps the first concepts triggered a completely new design direction. Whatever the case, this stage ensures that we leave no stone unturned.
4. Implementation. Implementation is the stage where the project takes on its final form. Letterhead, business cards, vehicle marking, signage, etc., are all developed in this stage. Once finished mechanicals are presented and approved, we will provide you with a CD containing the various application files.
Do I Really Need a Professionally Designed Logo?
Think of the money you spend promoting your company. A professionally
designed logo is a one-time expense that will reap benefits for your business
for years to come. Your visual ambassador has exactly four seconds to
answer questions like: Who are you? Can I trust you? Do I want to do business
with you? Great design not only speaks to the head, it speaks to the heart;
it is a visual voice that is both rational and emotional. If your logo
does not truly represent your company, then you are spending money to
project the wrong image. Having your logo professionally designed will
ensure you are sending the right message to potential customers.
